Why are you worried? It sounds like you are doing everything right and responsibly. Good luck

Are you worried they’ll be concerned for your 2 year old? You’re doing everything you need to, you’ve contacted the police and regardless of whether you contacted social services, the police would automatically contact them if they attended a domestic incident with a child present. Think about what support you might need - when you say support leaving, do you live together or need help with housing? Or to have an alert on your home if he turns up?

He’s hurt you twice now, so distance yourself and stop phoning him. If you can show you’re behaving in a way that protects your child you’ll be fine.
