Soo the DWP want my past four months of bank statements. Absolutely fine I'm a genuine claimant but I did something on new year's eve. I had no money left and really wanted to afford a takeaway for my kids. So I scammed some Chinese scammers.
On Facebook as you may have seen there were many advert for piece meal work IE making simple crafts in exchange for cash. If these had come to fruition I would have informed the DWP. However these ads were not for what they described. They wanted you to like a tiktok every hour until you had made fifteen quid. They then transferred this to my bank account. After that they then aggressively insisted I paid ten pounds to set up a bitcoin associated account. They were very persistent. I declined but signed up with other numbers on whatsapp advertised on facebook.
Same pattern, made the fifteen and ignored the rest. I made about 65 quid until the whole syndicate blocked me.
How do I explain this to DWP?
