Chat GBT Ugly Caricature

I know this is stupid but I got on the Chat gbt bandwagon and did my caricature and it's so ugly. Everyone else's, or the ones I've seen on social media, look gorgeous. My question is I'm really down about it and can't get it out of my head even Chat gbt thinks I'm hideous. Am I being unreasonable? I fucking hate that I'm even giving this headspace.

Did you ask for a caricature and is that the same prompt others have used? If they said “cartoon” or “image” then that would conjure up a different style result.

Go to therapy and talk through your insecurities. Don't say there aren't any because if you didn't have any what an AI programme produced would not bother you.

Also ChatGPT is ruining the environment and uses far too much water so no one should be using it, let alone for such a pointless reason

Get off your phone. Find something to do that makes you happy. Stop placing culpability for your own happiness on technology. It’s frankly getting embarrassing the amount of posts like this I’ve seen over recent months.

I know what you mean - I did one on Gemini and it made me look like a wrinkly old man. I am bloody ugly IRL, in fairness, but I stupidly thought it might have the sense to make me look better, not worse 😆

I had the same OP. I think it's that the prompt they're using is better.

I looked about twice my age, one eye shut, and had dirt all over me! I used a selfie I took in my bathroom mirror because the light is better in there, and it dressed me up as a plumber covered in shit! Literally! Plunger and everything...

I asked it to make me look 'nice' and it did a photo instead of a caricature, at that point I gave up.

There must be more going on with your self esteem and confidence if this is bothering you.

It's the prompts you are using that's producing the result.

You do know that machine has no lived experience don't you? In fact, the machine only knows what "life" and "people" are through scanning documents. some of those documents are factually wrong, some of them are propaganda. It treats these documents as having The same wheight.

The machine has no direct experience of life, people and the world because it's a machine.

I'm short, why on earth do you care what a machine "thinks" of you?

This happens to me all the time. I did one recently where it was making people look incredible in some kind of watery model shoot… mine made me look like some tired gollum creature coming up for air..

I took comfort in thinking that the end results didn’t actually look like them and how many attempts did the gorgeous ones make? You can tell chat gpt to make it look better, which is probably what they’ve done.

It will do whatever you tell him. It made a gorgeous one of me when I said I want a ‘cool’ one, and then a hideous one when I said a ‘funny’ one. Just tell it to make a beautiful one

At the start of the week, ChatGPT told me that July 2024 was seven months ago. It clearly can’t be trusted to get anything right so don’t let it upset you.
