False shortsighteness/psudomyopia in children?

Has anyone heard of the Cycloplegic test? This is a test that rules out being falsely dignoised with myopia. Apparently 50% of children are falsely diagnosed with myopia so I would like to get this ruled out beforehand. With Psudomyopia there is no change in the eyeball, therefore it is not permanent and requires different treatment than myopia.

Has anyone had this test? If so where could I get this for my child? I cant seem to find and opticians that preform this.

My child's blurry vision is not everytime so it is possibly Psudomyopia and I dont want her to be misdiagnosed.

Thanks in advance.

Hi 👋🏻 are you in the uk? If so all optometrists can carry out a cycloplegic examination, we do them every day
