I escaped to a hotel!

Namechanged. So I was utterly down in the dumps earlier and my house was stressing me out as there's constant jobs that need doing. I booked a hotel, cheap, half hour up the road from home and decided to escape for the night.
I've had a takeaway delivered to the reception, watched TV and showered. I'm alone and it's FUCKING BLISSFUL!!

I did this one night during our renovation. Absolute bliss, gave me the strength to get through the rest of it! Enjoy, and don’t rush to check out tomorrow!

YANBU. I have 2 nights booked at a Premier Inn next week and I can't wait. Got it cheap as they had 15% off if you booked more than one night and nobody else apparently wants to stay Monday-Wednesday in early February, even upgraded to the Premier Plus room.

One time when I was staying with my family they stressed me out with catty personal remarks. I walked out at 11 pm, got a taxi into the city (missed last train home) and booked into a hotel to chill out. My family had no idea where I had gone. It was two weeks before I accepted a call from them.

You would be unreasonable if you didn't remember to book a cleaner to come to your home while you're still at the hotel.

I did too when our bathroom was being done. I got fed up of having to get up early to go to mums for a shower before work. I booked a hotel close to work . I did take 12 year old DS with me though. We had a great night. Went out for tea, bought a ridiculous amount of snacks and he made me watch It. 😂
