Family Communal Changing Room

Inspired by another thread, I was wondering what the right thing to do is in a family changing room. (There are separate male and female changing rooms)

When we go swimming as a family, it's easier to use a family changing space so I don't have to do both girls by myself. But there are only 3 cubicles, along with a communal changing space. Is it ok for adults to get changed here? Of both genders?

Advice welcome!

It depends on the set up of each location. But in my experience “family” means just that.

When our DC were little my DH and I used the family changing rooms at our local pool to get changed.

They're basically for parents of children who are too old to use the opposite sex change room without issue.
