I froze a load of turkey just after Xmas & used some today in a casserole. I made too much but I never expected it to taste so nice.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. It was cooked on Xmas Day. It was a big bird so I froze what we didn't use. I suppose today counts as a reheat

I’d definitely eat it

Seahorsesplendour · 27/01/2026 19:55

I often do this with chicken, turkey & beef hut only once again. In my head I’ve cooked a different meal so it doesn’t count!!

im sure technically you shouldn’t but it’s never worried me & never had any issues!!

just make sure it’s really hot!!

Fodencat · 27/01/2026 19:58

It’ll be fine

Soashamed60 · 27/01/2026 20:07

Thank you all, I'll risk it tomorrow. There's only me having it

Hope you enjoyed it @Soashamed60 !!

JaceLancs · 30/01/2026 22:43

I would eat if cooked thoroughly

rightoguvnor · 30/01/2026 22:59

I think advice says only reheat once but tbh I batch cook stuff like spaghetti Bol, shepherds pie and freeze them, defrost and reheat and if there’s any leftover DH takes it for lunch the next day and blitzes it in his work microwave. He lives.

bridgetreilly · 30/01/2026 23:06

Reheat twice is generally okay. More than that I’d be more careful.
