Christmas afterthoughts

A friend said her parents wanted her and her child to go to their house for Christmas meal..this would be in the PM. They said their house has more space, so it would be better. Their house is bigger, neither houses are tiny. She's also not bothered about the meal and likes it to Sunday roast.

She said her parents were taking snide remarks saying her house was bigger.

AIBU in thinking that's not right?

I don’t think you understand how to use the word ‘offend’. Or string a sentence together Confused

And this is why you don't drink on Sunday evenings

I'm offended that you took the time to bother writing this, but I suspect you knew that...

Person A makes a factual statement to Person B
" my house is bigger than yours"
Person C is offended.

I’m assuming OP is the DM in this scenario (and possibly three sheets to the wind).

EdinaTheConfessor · 25/01/2026 22:04

I don’t think you understand what the word offended means OP

I think you need to check what offended means. No idea why you’d be offended.
