Until late last year I volunteered in a small local shop. Me and some others started helping with marketing by making fun promotional videos for social media. A man came in asking for me, saying he’d seen me on these videos and asking when I’d be working. Nobody told him. He came back on 3 separate occasions asking when I’d be there, and said he wants to join to be close to me. He made several staff feel uncomfortable with how he behaved. Apparently quite agitated and getting close to their faces. He stopped coming in but this week apparently he’s came back. I’ve left and he’s asking where I work now, and the same kind of stuff etc.

I have no idea what he looks like, only a few staff who have seen him do, no one knows his name or any details. We won’t have CCTV. He’s made people uncomfortable but hasn’t done anything to threaten/physical. Should this be reported to the police? I feel as if the shop should’ve reported it already but maybe I’m being dramatic? I don’t like the fact that I don’t know what he looks like, he could be following me and I wouldn’t know etc. I’ve only got a vague description

I would log it with the police, absolutely.
