Nigel Farage is unpatriotic

Allthatwegotisthispalebluedot · 24/01/2026 11:23

His response to Trump’s appalling comments about British Troops deserve their own thread. ‘I will object to that- politely’. Pathetic!

One of the biggest threats to UK security is Russia. He is in bed with Putin. He is absolutely dangerous.

Is it dawning on people yet? He is spineless and unpatriotic and he will sell UK security down the fucking Volga.

Well he's a self serving slimeball so I wouldn't expect him to have any kind of affiliation or understanding of anyone or anything humane, decent or normal. He'll do anything to line his pockets. Racist weasel.

BalladOfBarryAndFreda · 24/01/2026 11:26

He is the least patriotic 'nationalist' in living memory. Forever overseas, slagging us off.

The writing has been on the wall for a long time. The sooner his faithful flock see it, the better.

CarefullyCuratedFurniture · 24/01/2026 11:28

Of course he is. He's funded by the current Putin administration, so it's in his interests to keep Britain unsafe, paranoid and politically unstable. He does absolutely nothing for the benefit of the British people.

ValueofNothing · 24/01/2026 11:32

YANBU. Not only is he unpatriotic, he is a traitor who would happily sell the country to the highest bidder, provided he got his share. And if the US turned their sights on us, he'd be the first to welcome an invasion with open arms.

Ablondiebutagoody · 24/01/2026 11:33

No worse than Starmer bending over for Xi Jinping

GCAcademic · 24/01/2026 11:42

I think Reform will ditch him as leader. Going by the comments in the Daily Mail (yes, I do read it as it's a pretty accurate political weathervane), readers seem to have turned against him in the last few weeks, even before his spineless response to Trump yesterday. I still expect Reform to win the next election but it will be a rump of former Tory politicians (the worst ones) rather than the Reform party of 2025.

Springgy · 24/01/2026 11:44

Exactly, even if you want much less immigration and more Britishness, Farage is really not the poster boy for it. Just because none of the parties seem good enough please don't vote Reform, you can spoil the ballot and that will be counted and your feelings of disapproval will be counted.

Got any good borscht recipes for us @Ablondiebutagoody ?

Agreed. His purpose is to deliver a weaker UK and a weaker Europe to his Kremlin pay masters.

Who?

Disasterclass · 24/01/2026 11:51

Not only is he unpatriotic but he just seems useless as an MP. Doesn’t seem to do much constituency work, hardly ever in the House of Commons. Why would anyone vote for him when he doesn’t seem to be bothered about representing them, only interested in lining his own pockets?

I agree.

Farage’s party have taken money from Russia.

He is also guilty of 17 counts of parliamentary misconduct and has failed to declare £380’000 of income on time, claiming he doesn’t do computers. Funny how his time as a broker using computers would have been mandatory.

Completely different handling when you compare him to how the press and everyone was braying for Angela Rayner’s blood. But Farage is given a free pass.

What is interesting is when you look at the polls for his support it’s often the older and uneducated population who support him. Says everything really.

LlttledrummergirI · 24/01/2026 11:54

He has no respect for our armed forces, how the fuck could he lead and command them.

Itsmetheflamingo · 24/01/2026 11:54

He’s old, grubby looking and has awful teeth. It amazes me anyone is interested in what he has to say. He’s like the dull alcoholic FD companies used to have hiding in the forgotten office in the 1990s. Only seen puffy faced or propping up the bar, coasting on a lifetime of privilege and minimal effort. It amazes me people find that aspirational. Such dullards

Playingvideogames · 24/01/2026 11:54

As a right of centre person, he’s an utter snake who would sell the UK up the river for profit and exists only to serve his own shady interests. He would happily stab our allies in the back and do to them what Trump is doing to us.

I would rather Labour got a 2nd term than vote for him.

The Construction Company?

daisychain01 · 24/01/2026 11:56

Farage is an arse licking apologist to Trump. Anything he says, no matter how outrageous, ludicrous and ill informed, Farage will honk and clap like a performing seal. And I apologise to seals for using them to describe Farage, they deserve better!

The more I get to know about Reform the more I hate them. They are even planning to review ie abolish Watchdogs like the FCA - basically they want to deregulate and dismantle all the checks and balances that have been put in place to protect the people of this country. It will be an absolute basket case if they get in.

explanationplease · 24/01/2026 12:07

The whole lot of Reform will do the same. They are part of the same political movement. Trump’s comment was appalling, but this is what it was concerning:

Pentagon to offer 'more limited' support to US allies in defence strategy shift https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cj9r8ezym3ro

The US will also offer “more limited” support to US allies, according to a new national defence strategy document.

Absolutely. The bin-fire that is the current US administration is a template for him. Anyone watching that and thinking it's a good plan, needs their head read.

Ihatethistimeline · 24/01/2026 12:27

He worked for Russia Today earning £600k in one year alone. One of his MPs was jailed for 10 years in December. Zero investigative journalism into these.

He reads from the same script as Trump. If Trump says DOGE on Monday, Farage suggested DOGE UK on the Tuesday. If Trump says DEI is why we are poor on Wednesday, Farage says it on Thursday.

He sold the fishermen and farmers out with Brexit. He’d sell the NHS to American insurance companies.

He’s a compete grifting Faketriot who has friends in the media so they give him an easy ride because he’s the route for the media owners to strip this country bare.

i find this so cringe and can’t believe the reformers don’t. It’s just basically embarrassing copying the popular boy 😭

offtothegymagain · 24/01/2026 12:59

The only good thing is it might make people think twice about Farage. My family member is ex forces and an out and out Reform zealot. Hopefully this make make him pause…
