Was Work Colleague being Unreasonable

My Work Colleague who I work with on a one to one basis everyday keeps telling me she does everything and I do nothing to help her out at work. My Manager is pleased with my work & as far as I know has no issues with me or my work. I do what I have to do as far as my job description goes and work colleague who I work with has slightly more responsibility does her side of the job. She was being very rude to me today about how I do nothing however I did stand up for myself. Should I speak to my Manager tomorrow? Also should I look for another job?

Speak to your manager, clarify their expectations (have they given your colleague any reason to think you're their assistant in some way?), and if they're happy with your performance then you have nothing to worry about in terms of whether you're fulfilling your job requirements. Do you both have the same manager? If so, speak to them about your colleague's behaviour and attitude - it's their manager's job to step in if they're struggling with their workload.

Try not to get heated and just ask to speak to your manager about it to see if there is a misunderstanding about what’s expected of you.

Speak to your manager.

Looking for another job would be a weird reaction unless you don't really like it anyway.

of course speak with your manager and clarify requirements.

I do what I have to do as far as my job description goes
In most workplace, you need to look a bit beyond the job description. If you rigidly stick to "job description" , you might be very annoying for everyone else, and not do enough.

Only your manager can tell you, we don't know but I would be wary of anyone putting their "job description" as the strict frame of their work or working day.

I agree you should speak to your manager. If they still have no concerns about your work and you both share the same manager, I suggest asking for a meeting with the three of you attending. It will address the problem more efficiently as you will both hear what your manager has to say at the same time and leave no room for misunderstandings.

Have you asked colleage to clarify what she means? Ridiculous that she's moaning rather than telling you what she wants.

Find out then speak with your manager to ensure you fully understand your role.

If you're doing everything right either ask your manager to intervene or calmly explain to colleague that she has it wrong.
