People who just grunt at me instead of giving me a straight answer to a simple question. It is not hard to say yes please or no thank you if i ask you if you want a drink.

People who have full on conversations in public on speakerphone or who watch videos with the sound on. BUY SOME HEADPHONES

I'm drying my hair anyway, so I use the hairdryer on my breasts and underarms, and direct it down my back as well. Two minutes will see you dry enough to get dressed, plus it feels lovely.

Does anyone remember that scene in Bladerunner when a replicant steps into a tube which puffs warm air to dry her?

I want one of those.

I have very short hair and don't possess a hairdryer! Perhaps I could persuade someone desirable to come round and blow on me...?

Vinted buyers making ridiculous offers. If we wanted to give things away for free, we would. If we bother trying to sell them, we expect a reasonable price. Bargain a bit if you like, but some low offers are just silly.

Best ignore them so they don't come back with more ridiculous offers

Also people on Vinted who make an offer, I accept it and then they don't buy it or say anything? I only make an offer if I'm serious about buying, why are you wasting both our times if you don't actually want it? 😡

Or when you send it off and they just never collect it so it gets sent back - wasted my time even more. They never apologise or say anything either.

At work when people email me and CC in my manager for no reason, makes me immediately hate you.

Books written in pretentious, flowery language rather than focusing on the plot. Stop throwing metaphors my way and just tell me what happens next.

You could get a cheap one, just for the pleasure of it. It's quick and reliable, like a vibrator.

Can I add, putting on a sports bra after a shower when you are still slightly damp...

I had genuine rage with mine the other day, because it's soft and unstructured and I kept putting my head through the wrong hole and then it all just bunched up around my back until I was writhing and howling like a raccoon trapped in a bin.

😂

The squeezing of water bottles. That cruuuunch sound. Makes me want to kick something

Yes, and they aren't even reusable they're so flimsy, so how are they saving the planet?!

I hate those plastic can lids that keep them in a pack of 4, no need.

I read this too quickly and thought you were using the hairdryer to dry your underarm and breast hair, was thinking Jesus how much hair do you have in those areas?! 😂

Only ever seen on here but
“needs brushed” instead of “needs brushing or needs to be brushed” and other similar things. I am not even sure if I’ve used it correctly but it’s something like that and initiates the life out of me.

People that stand too close in queues and you can feel their breath
Other drivers
Cyclist on pavements
My local Tesco with its stupid locked doors and a member of staff has to use their little button to open them so you wait to be let in and then wait again to be let out. Gives me the absolute rage.

Limth · 22/01/2026 13:58

People who take a meeting time negotiation as an opportunity to let people know just how busy and important and impressive they are.

Me: I wonder if we could find a time to meet early next week?

That person: Early next week isn't possible because on Monday I'm having dinner with the president of the IMF which involves an all-expenses paid overnight stay at the Ritz. After my return home on Tuesday, I'm taking my violin prodigy child to give a personal recital for the Pope. Wednesday I'm crisis managing a volatile situation in a war-torn African nation but I can't say any more about that because I'm bound by the International Secrets Act. I could squeeze you in on Thursday lunchtime but I have a hard stop at 1pm because I'm chairing a phone conference between seventeen world-leaders before heading off to accept an OBE for my toenail and pubic hair sculptures which I regularly create and donate to under-privileged children.

The noise of a metal 2 part walking stick hitting the ground as someone walks with it

ShowmetheMapletree · 25/04/2026 15:05

Standing behind or infront of moaning people on the school run, always at a time the teacher opens the door late so stuck in the queue even longer.

When you open a tin, and the little pull thing snaps off, and raking tin opener over it fails, so you have to prize it open with a butter knife while trying to not cut yourself.

When I spill my morning coffee all over bench while in a rush.

When delivery men hammer on the door like it's a police raid - just ring the damn bell!

When it rains defying the weather forecast, and when you've 'just' washed your car

People who use the term "deep dive"

...I could go on lol

ASuitableName · 25/04/2026 15:55

@Limth 🤣🤣🤣

WrinklesShminkles · 25/04/2026 16:03

The now almost ubiquitous relacement of "given" by "gifted".

ShowmetheMapletree · 28/04/2026 13:53

Forget to mention older men out cutting grass as soon as you/others have cut theirs despite it not needing done. It is like a competition around here. When dh cuts ours, I tell him wait for it, and like clockwork one is out doing their already short lawn. 🤣
