Contact on maternity leave

Wondering what your thoughts are and really what I am within my rights to say on the topic.

I’ve been on maternity leave a few months now in that time I have been contacted by my manger a few times via text to give me some updates etc which I don’t mind.

today however I had a message this morning asking if I have time to log on to my laptop to sort some access to a file for a colleague. Before I had time to answer he said it has been resolved so not to worry. I wouldn’t have minded as much if he said sorry to bother you or please etc. For context I am not due back for atleast 6 months but I’ve kept my laptop as I work from home.

if this happens again should I say no ?

I think some minimal contact if it’s an emergency (access to a file only you can grant and necessary for the job for example) or a quick question to which only you know the answer.

Anything that can wait is unacceptable, anything that can be answered by someone still working is unacceptable and anything impolite or without please/sorry/thank you is always unacceptable maternity leave or not!
