Ok ask the name and occupation of the contestant. That’s all I care to hear thanks.

I don’t care what they’d spend the money on.
I don’t care if they’ve got a funny story about a bucket. It won’t be funny.
I don’t care what their hobbies are.

Just get on with the quiz/game.

They must be scraping by on a tiny budget. The prizes are laughably low, even by BBC standards.

The final round would be my downfall, unless there was one of those nice vague categories - something like 'Flowers' and it turns out they want a country of the world or a chemical element with one of the letters of FLOWERS in it. However, far more often it turns out they want either the Latin names of shrub roses or people whose surnames start with one of the letters of FLOWERS who've ever competed in the race walking events at the Olympics.

The final round is so annoying isn’t it! I used to like pointless , but the format needs changing really.
I do cheer them on if they actually win, but it is pretty rare.

I hate when they explain why they chose a particular answer. It’s not a maths exam, you don’t need to show your working!

I do like the different presenters they have though. That was a good addition to the show, even if it becomes a bit of a love in with AA.

Not to mention the prize money is absolutely shit !
