To be a bit unsettled? (New Job)

I had a new job offer just before Christmas and they posted me the contract. I then had an onboarding email and sent all required documents, and asked for confirmation they had been received. I haven’t heard anything. I also sent an email with a query relating to the contract on Monday. Again no reply. I feel a bit unsettled I think because it’s been a few weeks but I know Christmas accounts for a chunk of that time, and most people probably only returned to work on Monday. When would you chase? I’ve already handed in my notice and am now feeling very anxious about the whole thing!

I would chase
there’s been three working days for January already

I'd chase tomorrow, three days is enough time to get caught up in most jobs I would have thought.

Another question - it’s been ages since I got a new job, years in fact - but should I go to recruiter or
the HR contact who seems to have missed my emails? For the query I sent on Monday is it too early to chase yet?

Dont panic - it only takes one person to be on A/L a few extra days in Jan to mess up a chain or process so it is likely nothing to worry about. But do chase up

I don’t start until the middle of April so I expect it’s just not urgent for them. I hope that’s all it is anyway!
