To feel so much better than last year?

Ok this time last year - 2025 - by January 7th I’d already given up on my diet, and went on to have the most unproductive year of my life. I only managed to do the’ ‘very basics’

I started 2025 at 13 stone and finished it 15 stone.

The most difficult aspect of a dieting or exercise plan for me is drinking 2 litres of water so for this first week of 2026 I’ve been determined to be disciplined and prioritise my daily water drinking

I’ve already lost 10lb - even though tomorrow’s my first official weigh day and I’ve stuck to my diet/exercise plan even in the difficult snow days! I was tempted to overeat last night but didn’t - I knew it would be a false economy

I feel much better already and also know I have to face quite a few domestic tasks I find difficult but I’ll face them!

This post is designed to help anyone like me who wants to change in 2026 !

Well done you on your weight loss. Sounds like you've got a more positive frame of mind this year so keep at it and reach your goal. It's amazing how much difference mindset makes for things like this. Hopefully 2026 is a better year for you 😁

Good for you!! I need your motivation too! I'm not great with drinking enough water so that's a good place to start.
