Is this possible does anyone know? Booked to see Westlife with friends in September but now have been invited to a close friend's wedding in Italy on same date 🙈 going with friends including kids and i dont want to disappoint everyone. Has anyone ever successfully done this? I will ring them tomorrow and explain...

Yabu they wont change
Yanbu, in certain circumstances they will

Pretty sure you have to sell the ones you have and buy new ones, but no harm in asking I guess.

To be honest I did not know that it was still possible to ring them. Before you do (if you can) know what dates you want to switch to, check if there are seats available, have an idea what seats you want, ideally at the same price or less as your current one etc. Basically make sure it is as little hassle as possible for customer service to help you. I may just say due to unforseen circumstances rather than saying it is a wedding.

You will be able to sell them on either Ticket master or on Twickets. Then buy ones for the date you now want.

Will they sell do you think? Given its not a sell out tour? Not yet anyway...

I used ticketmaster recently and the agent was really helpful, I was swapping tickets to the same event but upgrading and it was easy. It’s worth asking.

Only option is to sell and buy more. They won’t transfer. If it’s not sold out you would need to offer for less than face value and you might get lucky. You can’t usually sell until a few weeks before either. Sorry.

I think its very unlikely in these circumstances. They would be more likely to do it for a medical reason or a bereavement or other unforseen exceptional circumstances. I dont think subsequently having a wedding that day is the kind of thing they would assist with. Be interested to know if you call them and I am wrong.
