Bank account for 11 year old with card

Looking for recommendations for a bank account with a card for an 11 year old? Ideally one that’s free every month. Currently have go Henry but looking to change to a free account. Thanks

Monzo is great! We switched from Go Henry to Monzo and it’s so much better!

Just about any bank really. I like the Revolut one because you can see what they are spending. But it is not really it's own account, so money cannot be deposited directly by others. Other accounts my DC have are just with who I bank with, because I know the online interfaces.

We use Starling for my 9yr old and it’s been great - he has a card but you can put limits on how much he spends and whether that’s on or offline.

Most banks will offer a current account with card for an 11 year old. My dcs bank with santander

Mine have this one with a linked savings account they're teens now and its helped them save money. You can choose what type of card you have as well depending on what they'll use it for.

Same as first poster - we switched to Monzo from Go Henry! I already had a Monzo account so set up my daughter’s account from that. I transfer her pocket money via the app and can pay via Apple Pay (if she’s ‘forgotten’ her card!) but she does have a physical card as well.

Nationwide FlexOne. Then they've got physical branches if they need/want to see someone face to face or pay in cash etc
