WhatsApp locked chat

Hi all. Is it unreasonable to ask my husband for full Access to his locked Chats on WhatsApp ? previously I found out that he was chatting to someone and flirting and it was all hidden in his locked chats. He had given me full access to his phone, but I found out that he had hidden their messages in locked chat. So is there a way to ask for full access to locked chats even though he’s saying the reason he couldn’t give me full access to locked Chat before was because he also has family private messages in there.

Im not looking to leave the marriage, but how do I ask this without it sounding like I’m invading his privacy? And is it unreasonable to ask this?

It’s not reasonable to be looking through his phone in the first place. If you don’t trust him the relationship is over.

It is entirely unreasonable to be going through his phone. You either trust him enough to stay in the relationship or you don’t, in which case you need to end things now.

If he has to have ‘locked’ chats in the first place I think that’s part of your answer…

If you’re not looking to end the marriage then what’s the point? It won’t change anything. You’re still going to stay anyway.
