Neighbours ruining my new year

Upstairs neighbours seem to be on a shagging marathon since the midnight fireworks. I was enjoying a peaceful sit down with cats as DC asleep and I was enjoying my book and a late cuppa to unwind for tomorrow's continued celebrations.

I just feel icky and anxious now as the creaking, heaving and groaning above my head. I've even moved rooms but they seem to be enjoying all the rooms of their flat.

Headphones in now but I honestly want to vomit hearing them at it.

Meh, you have your headphones so problem solved. It's a night of celebration for lots and unlikely they are being purposefully loud at nearly 3am, they probably assume everyone is asleep and have got a little carried away- it's only sex. They will tire themselves out soon I'm sure!

This situation calls for one of those creepy dolls. Prop it up outside their door; bang loudly then run away. Bonus points for it you get a clockwork toy to play a nursery rhyme.

or

sample their noises, turn it into a top dance track in the style of Eyeball Paul’s “All I Wanna Do Is Do It”.

or hope they are all shagged out soon and try to forget about it?

I've never understood how someone can be so loud during sex.

Yes I make noise during sex, but not loud so the neighbours hear me.
