Yes, same for last couple of days. I'm 60 and hosted all over Xmas so putting it down to that.

I’ve had a virus for over 2 weeks, been mostly symptom free after the first few days (usual cold type) but I have had bone crushing tiredness since and tonight the throat went sore again. So I know I still have it. It’s most peculiar. DD has more traditional symptoms but clearly we have some sort of plague. Every school hol is the same!

I have been SO tired the last 2-3 weeks, with no real cause. I do have iron deficiency but on tablets for that, and the deficiency was there before the exhaustion hit.
No advice, but solidarity. I can lie down and sleep at any point in a day.

I have been so very tired. We have our granddaughter coming to stay for a few days. I love having her but really feel as though it’s all too much. Which is not like me at all.
Any tips please?

Yep but I have chronic fatigue thanks to fibromyalgia and it’s just been discovered that I have low iron so I’ve just started iron tablets.

I ran out of my vitamin D and B12 which both really help but I should go get more I guess as I have enough tiredness issues without those being too low as well.

Me! I look awful, haven’t slept properly in weeks , hosted for Xmas day and hosting again NYD.
not been enjoyable at all. Am planning on going away next Christmas.

Yes , similar to @goudacheese I’ve had DD here since 19th Dec , DS here for 6 days ( he’s gone back now though )
I’ve done all the cooking ( DH does the classic what shall I do to help ? When it’s all done ) cleaning ( I’ll hoover through for you ) and washing ( though DD has put a load of her stuff on and DS took his back with him, it’s still extra bedding
I’m 65 and knackered
It’s lovely to see them though

I feel like this most of the time!

boogietrapps · 29/12/2025 21:41

I am, but I think it’s due to having so much on over the Christmas period. Tomorrow is the first day we haven’t been visiting/hosting anyone since the 22nd.
