To say I've got my mid-life face regime sorted?

Archetypal, 46 year old, perimenopausal, woman, fair, blotchy (if hot or cold), combination skin.

After many years of faffing with fancy brands, supermarket brands, pharmacy brands, or frankly doing very little (a cursory wipe with a face-wipe), I think I've got it "down" and this is my routine a vast majority of the time.

Morning:

Wash face in shower using Elemis Superfood Facial Wash.

Moisturise with Dr Jart Ceramidin Skin Barrier.

Make up:

Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser (spf 30) - the palest colour (Pearl).
Beauty Pie Under Eye Genius.
Jones Road stick blusher on cheekbones.
Laura Mercier eye crayon (in a slightly mauve toned brown).
Perricone NM Mascara.
Bobbi Brown translucent powder on t-zone.
Burts Bees honey lip balm (must be the honey one).
Lipstick varies daily.

Evening:

Cleanse either with Elemis Cleansing Oil or Elemis Cleansing Balm (and a washable facial cloth).

Beauty Pie Plantastic Overnight Miracle Oil (genuinely, this is a game changer).

This is it... I can't imagine wanting or needing any different products for winter.

Other brands I've liked and may return for summer are Avene and La Roche Posay for lighter moisturising.

Things I havent solved: my very dry lower body (dusty), my stupid hair (needs washing every day, all the textures, only looks good for one week post cut).

Great that it works for you.
I have very tight feeling skin after using just water, even after just getting wet in the rain.

I've got no interest in looking young, I look how I look, it's more about skin comfort and feeling fresh.

Reasonable. My skin always feels fine, even after sea swimming. Though my heels do get dry, now that I come to think of it, and I do moisturise them in summer when I wear sandals.

I’m similar age and definitely have not got my routine sorted. I tend to stick to what’s on offer and use basic stuff but always an spf 50 all year around. Have down since I was around 15. I have no clue about make up and am waiting for my daughter to do it for me when she a little older! I hate buying new products as invariably they make no difference.
