I hate kids’ costumes. We’ve acquired a few: mechanic and police officer, Belle and Elsa and actually the princesses aren’t too bad as it’s just a dress. But the others have so many parts to them and my heart sinks when ds announces he wants to dress as a firefighter or a mechanic as I’m going to be charging around the house picking the bits up for ages. They also never fit properly and are a trip hazard.
Before anyone accuses me of being joyless they do have them as they like them but honestly can’t wait for them to be forgotten about!
