It’s not big. It is small and round, it used to be big and oval and lovely and nutty.

Bought the M&S Big Mix this year. They were pretty good, much tastier than Quality Street, and sparkly wrappers too!

After last year's tin being a huge disappointment,I swore to not bother this year. We were gifted a small box by MIL and it confirmed that all flavours are awful and the chocolate is terrible.

It was the end for me when they changed the wrappings. No more lovely jewel colours. Future generations will be deprived of a childhood with the green triangle, the gold penny and the purple one.

Just look at the way they used to be 😩

They used to be BEAUTIFUL. You’d feel joyous looking at those lovely, foil wrappers (and the tins). Now, when I see those sad, waxy, drab wrappers, my heart sinks.

Why doesn't another company bring out chocolates that are as good as QS used to be, proper chocolate, in a proper tin with hundreds of sweets, wrapped in proper wrappers that crinkle?

Don't get me started on the toffee penny - horrible. Soft very mushy and no flavour. Really weird and grim. To be honest having sampled a few they all taste the same slightly orangey flavour - not a treat any more!.

Yes why have they done that? They’re my favourite. I thought our box had gone off because the toffee penny was just squish!

But the DC's are still eating them . . . I feel sorry for the poor little blighters as they have no comparison like us and no memories of what REAL Quality Street tasted like. The current QS look and taste like fakes 😫

We used to look through the wrappers as children to see the colours. They are ugly now, Altho I do know that biodegradable is better.

I've converted to Lindt pick & mix as I'm lucky enough to live near one of their shops. There are so many lovely flavours with gorgeous coloured wrappers and you can add in mini bears and prettily wrapped neapolitans, Absolute bliss!

I agree, they are revolting this year, and seem to now mostly be the same shape. Ours also all taste vaguely orangey, probably because there are so many orange creams in the box.
