Someone I know is a single parent to 3 young dc. I am single parent to 1 young dc. She has spent absolutely hundreds on loads of presents, presenting them in Santa sleighs that are personalised. And she’s given them all post code type things with the photo of the hotel they’re going to abroad next year. I just feel sad as I have one dc and can’t afroad all this, whilst working. She hasn’t worked for 9 years and is able to do all this for her children. I feel like a bad mum…

Comparison is the theif of joy op. I'm sure your dc had a wonderful Christmas thanks to your hard work.
You don't know the ins and outs of other peoples lives.

Ooooh is this a festive benefit bashing thread?

Either way, don't compare, if you were happy until you saw her gifts then maybe come off social media (where I presume you saw all this).
