Looking for a new water bottle for travel/gym/house as I try to move away from carbonated drinks to diluting juice/water. Preferably one that is leak proof... I always seem to choose leaky ones 🙄

Thanks in advance!

I was looking at this so following. A lot of the ‘cool kids’ seem to have Stanley cups but are they just a trend and not that good?

I have a camelbak. I liked that the lids are interchangeable and you can get the bits like straws and nozzles separately so you can replace if parts break or go manky

I have the Eddy with straw. The top flips down. It doesn’t leak.

I’m eyeing up the chute/thrive insulated one too.

Hydro pal water bottle, never leaked, choice of how u want to drink it and keeps water cold for ages

CMOTDibbler · 26/12/2025 20:11

Sho. Keeps your drinks really cold and don't leak

Ion8. Get them for the kids and myself, use them everywhere and never had one leak. Also seem to be relatively sturdy and survived being bashed about in bags or dropped while running. Come in different sizes, I use the 500ml for the gym and the 1l for days out.

ive got a hydroflask, it does keep stuff cold but it doesn’t fit in the cup holder in my car (smaller models may do though), and the spout only works if it’s pulled right back which isn’t a major issue but makes it just slightly more awkward. I’ve bought an Owala free sip as a Christmas present for someone and I’m tempted to get one myself!

Sho bottles are great, and they have a sale on now I think.

Roserunner · 26/12/2025 20:38

My DD wants a Owala bottle, I haven't used one so no idea but they appear to be the new popular brand. They claim they're leak proof and I think you can either drink through a straw or sip normally.

Owala bottles are great. DD2 had one and then I got one and use it at work every day.

somanychristmaslights · 26/12/2025 20:46

Sho, and they have 25% off at the moment. Me, DH and DS all have one.

TokyoSushi · 26/12/2025 20:48

DD has just had an Owala for Christmas, they are £££ but it is really lovely and she still had ice in it about 10am today from last night! Eyeing up one for myself!
