Christmas with sick kids!

I am so so so tired, overwhelmed, over touched and over everything else. Both boys got sick couple of days ago. Nasty flu, 40 degrees for couple of days, not slept more than an hour in one ago at night, snotty nose which is killing 10months old baby..both are crying, whining, not wsnting to eat but are hungry…could not go to visit family, didnt even take a shower today yet, couldnt sit at the table and have something proper to eat, dh and I are so tired and snappy with each other.

I feel for you, maybe rearrange Christmas in you head and do it on New Year’s Day… kids won’t know. This will pass op, you just have to buckle down and get through it to better days, but it’s horrendous when it happens.

Survival is the game today and probably tomorrow. Then plan with your husband to have christmas day on the 28th of something. Food should all be good, juat survive with the easiest dinner, lots of tv, bring the duvets down.

I'm sorry to hear your family are poorly. It's shit when your sick over christmas. 😫
We've had one like that one year. 😔
I kept my DS medicated with antihistamine, (scratchy throat) cough medicine and calpol, as well as plain nasal spray (0.99p home bargain) to clear his nose and a night time nappy, as he would wet himself having coughing fits. It was grim, but just unfortunate. 😬

Then it passed by! 🙌
When we were all better we celebrated. 💃

But whilst poorly, just stay warm, dry, hydrated, medicated and comfortable. 😌
Just survive the mayhem and rearrange for another day with the the frou frou faff 💕
