Not this year, ours is Boxing Day but we have in the past

I did a full on Christmas dinner on Saturday. Many of my extended family are vegetarian/ don't like turkey so we haven't had a traditional Christmas dinner on the day for many years.
I therefore do one the weekend before for whoever misses having turkey because I absolutely love a proper turkey dinner with all the trimmings. It was excellent.

I used to do this when children were young, loved it. It makes Christmas Day SO relaxing!

Enjoy.

We have it today. But we are Swedish, so for us Christmas Eve is the "big day".

Tomorrow we eat lutfisk (dried whitefish) with potatoes and mustard sauce.

Merry Christmas!

No but have shuffled things around in the past when I was working on Christmas Day (ex-nurse).

Yes we did, Austrian DH so this is tradition for him.
Turkey roast potatoes and salad (Australia).
Pandan trifle to finish then gifts for the littles.
it was lovely

Yes. Always do. Christmas Day is cold lunch with seriously pricey nibbles and good booze.

Boxing Day, as is traditional, is Xmas Day (i.e Xmas Eve) leftovers, bubble & squeak etc.

Personally, I love it!
