Three bed detached, quite small. No conservatory or double doors etc. Quote for one off clean of £150. Is this normal do you think? South west England

Massive rip-off! Are they clearing the gutters as well?

4 bed 1930s semi here in SW and pay £35 every three months (inc conservatory).

Isit2026yet · 23/12/2025 16:28

That’s insane for a 3 bed detached. We’re SW and have a 4 story 1880s 6 bed and paid £110 after the house had been painted, then it’s £40 every 8 weeks.

Thanks everyone, just checked with DH and it also includes the ‘facias’ ( I think that’s the name for them) which are dirty

Depends really. We pay £25 pm for the Midlands but it was more for the first. 4bed property. Nothing special about it

rightoguvnor · 23/12/2025 17:19

The Igad will do the fascia’s, soffits and any shipload cladding you have too, still for less than £150.

I have just had a look online - interesting! Are they easy to use?

Im in a first floor flat and clean my own windows.

ItWasntMyFault · 23/12/2025 17:34

I pay £11 a month in the south east for a 3 bed house.

UxmalFan · 23/12/2025 17:54

One off would be more expensive, but that sounds unreasonably high unless your windows are unusually dirty or have paint drips on them or something.

vanillalattes · 23/12/2025 17:56

We pay £12 in the NW, whether it's a one-off or not.

NellieJean · 23/12/2025 18:28

Is he using Perrier water.

AgnesMcDoo · 23/12/2025 18:31

£20 for a large 4 bed, 4 public rooms, plus conservatory in Scotland

rightoguvnor · 23/12/2025 20:05

i thiught I might struggle with the igadpole as I’m rather short and have a bad shoulder but I managed to do the whole house, including cladding up to 7m high by myself.
