I am not sure if I am overthinking things and would love some thoughts/advice off you lovely lot. My son is 13 and in year 8 and I am worried about his friendships. He has people at school who he sits with at lunch, breaks etc but he seems to be on the cusp of different friendships group and over time these groups seem to be getting closer. He's been upset a couple of times saying he doesn't feel like he belongs but most days he seems fine. He's on the school football team and plays football out of school plus he has 4 close friends outside of school. He has adhd (so do i) and i know he can misread social ques sometimes and one boy in particular has said hes annoying and no one likes him this has hit me hard and I've been really worrying about him. Would you be worried? Any advice? Thank you for reading it hope it makes sense.

I’d probably work with him on social cues, if he’l let you, but, other than that, leave it.

Nothing you can do. He will learn to navigate it himself.
I only have one close school friend. Everyone else I met as an adult through work and hobbies.
