We were due to get married in December. Relatively low key buffet type meal few hours in the town hall. I'd decided on a 'nutcracker' (as in the Christmas decorations) theme as it is also a naming ceremony for our son. Now it's all pushed back to end Jan. whilst i think it would be weird to have the same theme, I don't think anyone (except my mum) would mention it, I'd already got a few decorations, and i can't really think of any other theme (other than getting a few flowers).

YABU - ridiculous, think of something else or just chuck some flowers about
YANBU - it's still winter so ok

Nobody will care OP, are you still happy with the decorations? If not keep the colour and do flowers instead, if yes then go ahead with it

What about winter? So twinkly lights, snowflakes, mulled cider or wine.

flowers keep simple, Holly, berries, garlands and table centre pieces with battery tea lights.

I think it sounds lovely!

Do you mean an actual nutcracker theme or the ballet? If you like the decorations and can't return them, then use them. I agree with the above poster, maybe go more wintery themed and flowers.
