Hi everyone,
I had a routine eye test and the fundus photograph seemed to show a bit of optic nerve swelling in one eye. I then had an OCT scan which showed a tilted disc. I have myopia and astigmatism so the optometrist felt this was the reason the nerve looked slightly blurred/swollen but she would put an urgent referral in.
I phoned the hospital after 4 days and they said the consultant would review the images and triage. It has now been 16 days and I have received this text message. Would you say this seems like they are concerned? Or does it look more like I've been triaged as routine.
