To ask AIBU regarding cleaner?

We have a cleaner come every fortnight to our home. The last time she came I feel she overstepped a bit however my husband doesn’t see it as a big deal.
I recently had my birthday and had received a large bouquet of flowers. I had mentioned to my husband that the flowers were beginning to wilt and they probably wouldn’t last much longer.
Anyways the cleaner came later that day and when I got home that evening the flowers were in the bin. I asked my husband and he said he thought I had binned them after our conversation but it turns out our cleaner had. My husband thinks because I was going to bin them myself it’s not a big deal however I feel she massively overstepped.
Im just wondering aibu here?

Cleaner here. I wouldn't have binned them without being asked.
She did overstep imo.

I’d have been a bit miffed but if they were very past their best she probably thought it was a favour to you

She probably thought she was being helpful, but it is overstepping a little.

I’d be a bit annoyed, but I’d also remember that she cleans for dozens of different clients, all of whom will have different expectations, and things like not disposing of wilting flowers might get her pulled up for not tidying properly by one client, even whilst another sees it as overstepping. It’s a tricky job with a lot of nuance.

Thanks for the replies, there was probably another 2-3 days left in them as the lilies had been late to bloom. I didn’t say anything to her but to be honest I still would have checked before I threw something out.

Flowers are replaceable good cleaners are hard to find.
