I wouldn't. Have looked but wouldn't do it.
I read up.on it and there's many scams around, or the phone your sent not being the one
You thought you were getting etc.
Being scratched or not working properly.
Has anyone actually successfully bought any electronics or phone from Vinted and it was Ok?😮

I bought a Fitbit for £20 and it was great. As an unexpected bonus I even got a promotional free year of premium membership worth £80 - bargain of the year.

I did read the sellers reviews very carefully first though.

I bought an Apple Watch - no complaints! You do just need to be careful and choose a responsible seller. Ensure that the phone has been unlocked & fully wiped of their data before it is sent. You can usually spot the scammers a mile off if you look at their profile.

I would personally go for somewhere that does refurbished phones (like CEX) because they give you a warranty.

Having worked in a store that bought and sold second hand phones, no I absolutely wouldn't. One thing retail and service will teach you is that it's incredible how stupid the average person is, you'd have a very good chance of buying a phone with a passcode or apple account or Google account still linked to it that the seller has forgotten the password to but doesn't think it's an issue.

I got scammed recently (all turned out ok in the end) - fake adidas trainers. I raised a case and returned them as requested by the seller.
The seller (who had good reviews) didn’t collect them for a week, meaning vinted held on to my money.
I also got sent a bundle of clothing which was only fit for the bin except for one item. Luckily I hadn’t spent much. I actually accepted it as I wanted to give a negative review as the bundle didn’t match the description at all. (Primark instead of Next type items.) I suspect that the seller has a habit of this as they went nuclear and gave me a bad review, which I replied to restating what had happened. (If you return there is no option to give a review so the seller gets away with it.)
