I am trying to get onto the EPU but no answer.
I took a test yesterday (1st pic) and the line was stronger than the one ive taken today (2nd pic)
In the mean time. I have been bleeding red. Its not been enough to soak a pad nor any clotting.

No the bleeding sort of light spotting is normal. Congratulations.

Dare I ask why you did another test? Isn't seeing it positive the first time enough? Were they both taken first thing in the morning?

Also FYI when I had a miscarriage where no heartbeat was found tests were still positive. I don't think a fainter line makes you less pregnant. Just your urine used not as strong. It's still a positive test.

So stop testing nobody can say whether everything is OK until you have a scan and heartbeat is detected. So try and relax until then.

How far along are you, OP? Unlike the first post, I wouldn't be so sure it's not a miscarriage of you're bleeding red, it's difficult to know at an early stage. I would agree to stop testing right now, it's not going to be helpful immediately and will probably drive you mad.

I had an early miscarriage and I'd say the symptoms I had when I was pregnant stopped. Have you got any early symptoms you can or can't still feel? How heavy is the bleeding?

Noone on here can say yes or no unfortunately, the first response saying it's normal seems a bit presumptuous, I'd tend to disagree.

Unfortunately there's nothing can be done if this pregnancy isn't going to go well but hopefully it's just a blip and everything will be fine.

The electronic tests that say pregnant or not pregnant leave no room for doubt or guessing about lines etc but I'd agree that there's no use in testing every day as you'll drive yourself round the bend.

Good luck I hope everything is fine

Hi thanks for both responses.
In all honesty i wouldnt have a clue of how far along i am or would have been..
I had another post on here on the 16th of Nov. With a really faint line on a cheap one. I took a clear blue it was negative. A day later i began to bleed quite heavy aswell. So i thought nothing of it. Until i went into surgery again last week (they ask is there any chance). And imagine my surprise when the line was quite clearly visible. I have been bleeding on and off for what seems like two weeks.
Im really confused by it all. Ive currently tried calling the early pregnancy unit numerous times but they just arent picking up right now x

I’m sorry you’re experiencing this, it is very anxiety inducing.

I have experienced both positive and not positive outcomes after bleeding in early pregnancy - I think all you can do is keep trying the EPU.

I hope all works out for you.
