Anyone used MUVE on here or is a conveyancer?

Our solicitor MUVE isn’t responding to our calls/ emails and we are meant to exchange next week.

their phone number is literally ringing off. Even the main one for the company. We can’t get through to anyone at all. They won’t confirm if they are ready for exchange .

I am worried they are going under or there is an issue with the company. Has anyone used MUVE before? I am terrified of transferring the deposit to them.

if anyone is a conveyancer on here, do we have any options? Can we get another solicitor / conveyancer at this short notice. We have signed contracts and everything.

any advice much appreciated.

Are you buying through an estate agent?

Our FTBs used them. I was worried when I read the reviews but it all went smoothly.
Hope it all goes OK.

Im an estate agent, they are cheap but they are shit/ why people choose the cheapest firm to handle what is probably the highest value purchase they will ever make is beyond me.

sorry to say/ umpteen sales have fallen through due to them- we actively advise clients not to use them

I bought a house. My vendor chose Muve. We were ready to exchange well before when I actually managed to move (muve). I was a cash buyer. I wouldn't recommend them, based on that.

Thanks, it’s because the reviews are so good on trustpilot. Stupid I know. Don’t worry I’ll be leaving a different one for everyone else….

Thanks, just not sure how to get out of it now! Thanks though.

Good luck. Moving's never fun, especially this time of the year.
