What do you want to use it for, to remotely connect to a business or home network over the public internet, or to access illegal streams, bypass restrictions on adult content, or to access content with geographic restrictions? To protect a network I certainly would not buy anything touted on You Tube or other social media and expect it to be secure and reliable, if you're just trying to hide your location use the TOR browser.
