My grout is not grotty

Everyone on MN says their white grout has gone grotty. Mine hasn’t, in over ten years. I don’t really do much to keep is sparkling white. Am I the only one to have been blessed with fungus-free filling?

Yabu - my grout is grotty no matter how hard I scrub it, bleach it etc

ours isn’t grotty. We just use bleach

Ours isn’t in anywhere except for the actual shower part. I have to scrub it with an old toothbrush and it’s awful!!

We’ve got black grout. It may well be grotty but I can’t tell 😅

I have beigey pink grout and it looks great still.

London hard water, we don’t clean it (cleaner does once a week), it still looks white and we have white tiles so you’d be able to see if it was grotty.

Yep, orange-pink gunge if I don't scrub and bleach all the time. The joys of a windowless bathroom.

We get pink/orange stuff too. It’s good once it’s scrubbed up, though. I suspect we should all squeegee the whole shower after use.

It’s made a huge difference to my shower doors now we squeegee most days.

It’s the white sealant that gets me. Doesn’t last a year before needing redoing. And I’m not great at it!

Yeah same as @PrizedPickledPopcorn the grout is always fine or nothing that a quick scrub with bleach can't solve. Silicone on the other hand, I can't keep that white and bleach does nothing! Haven't bothered replacing it for a couple of years now and it really needs it.
