my little one is 3 and has been really unwell since Friday

had a really high temp and did not get off the sofa all day and was being sick water
same again on Saturday

Sunday his eyes were noticeably blood shot especially on the one eye he seemed a bit brighter but had very little energy I also noticed his lip was a little peeling / blistered and his tongue was coated white

Monday much of the same managed to get in with the GO he said ear infection

Tuesday he’s barley been awake all day and had a temp of 38.4 eyes are less red , had a second opinion and they said tonsillitis

he’s been awake about 2 hrs today of that and I’m really struggling to get Kawasaki out of my head due to the red eye.

does anyone have any experience of this as I just feel really helpless and doctors have told me ear infection and today they said tonsillitis .

Without other symptoms, it's unlikely to be kawasaki disease. If your little one was vomiting, that can easily cause a burst blood vessel in the eye and make it a bit bloodshot. Tonsillitis and ear infections can both make a child feel very poorly and have a high temperature. He needs to rest on the sofa, have pain relief and drinks, don't worry if he doesn't feel like eating much or at all. He might welcome some ice cream or sorbet with a sore throat. Viral ilnesses can take a good few days to get better so just let him rest for the next few days.
