Went to buy a lipstick - store price 4 pounds more than online.
No indication on item that was it online price only, on top of that, offered a search for stock in store.
They cant use Terms and conditions as there is no indication of the difference
ive reported them to trading standards, CMA,ASA, and written to their Senior Execs
Because for far too long weve put up with these greedy multinationals fleecing customers and getting away with it.
im awaiting responses and actions taken
Staff in store said theyre fed up with taking the flak for this and its a regular occurrence.
If i see an item and it says online price only,I get a choice and I am not being misled.
Imagine Ikea selling a table for 125 online and you to the shop its 165.
Boots get away with it because its much easier for them to be deceptive. A Two pound here, a four pound there, noone will really care/notice - yet that adds up.
How many people are gonna drive to boots, see its 4 pound more and then walk away? Not many, theyll buy it albeit begrudgingly, this is why Boots do it.
Ive had enough of this BS.
