AIBU to find the Asda grinch advert incredibly annoying? I mean, it actually makes me quite angry and I don’t know why - I think it’s the blokes face! Anyone else?

He is a wanker, his family just want a good time and all he is doing is whinging. She will leave him after Christmas and he will be alone!!

Hate it! So annoying and it’s on in every break when we watch anything on the Channel 4 app.
Nearly as bad as the stupid Aldi carrot ones which I haven’t seen this year but I know it’s only a matter of time.

Nothing about that advert puts me in the christmas spirt or makes me want to shop at Asda.

It’s so low-rent. We don’t watch a lot of channel 4 or ITV, but it feels relentless when we do, DD and DH have both spontaneously commented on how irritating it is. It’s put me off ASDA for life.

The Waitrose and JL ones annoy me. And I don't care about Kevin the bloody carrot.

I like the Tesco ones.

I find them all massively annoying this year - Asda, Waitrose, John Lewis, Morrisons, Sainsburys, M and S - the only oneI don't mind is Tesco. And I'm usually a big Christmas ad fan.

I feel the same about the JL ad. Nothing says "miserable Christmas" more than that one. As for the Waitrose effort, I'm surprised I haven't gone into a diabetic coma just watching it, it's so sickly sweet.

I like the Asda one because, let's be honest here, everyone is a bit of a Grinch when it comes to Christmas shopping. Whether it's for gifts or food there will always be an element of "how much???? fuck am I paying that!".
