Not complain about shop assistant?

Well, I don’t know how exactly I would complain too, but just wanted to post and get opinions.

I went into the local Spar shop earlier, just for a few bits as we were passing. I had my 6 yr old DD with me. The shop assistant was trying to have a ‘joke’ with her, blocking the aisle so she couldn’t past. I could see her the whole time but she went the other way out the aisle and he came round to try and block her again. I said come on we need to go and pay and she went to run and he went to block her again and she nearly fell. She was fine but then he actually physically picked her up. Not like into his arms but like to lift her up under her arms and move her for some reason. I asked him to put her down, not pick her up please. He then pretended to take her sweets and wouldn’t give them her after I’d paid and said they were his. I said we needed to go so he gave them her. At this point she was getting upset, I could tell. But she held it in.

Im not going to go in again. I feel like it was unprofessional and not right. He also said she could pick some chocolate for free. But I said it’s ok as she has her sweets

Sorry, I don’t know why I put that as my title. It meant to say *To complain about the shop assistant?

Oh, and I forgot. I think in the distraction, he over charged me, by at least £5. either by scanning something twice or more. By mistake or on purpose? But it was too late to go back.

Complain to the manager - no one should touch your child!

Harmless or otherwise, that's completely unacceptable.

Poor kid.
