Quick - how to recover deleted WhatsApp

please help with how to recover WA messages/chats that I know have been deleted, even the contact isn’t there.

ive deleted & reinstalled the app, it asked if I wanted to restore message & I said yes, but they still aren’t there.

where should I be looking and is there something else I should be doing?

If it hasnt been backed up then I dont think it can be restored.

I think you can only restore to your latest backup in the cloud. Have you tried googling it? Or if not you’ll need another method of contact. Social media? Email?

It said last backed up at midnight last night but still nothing there to recover. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Is It defo what’s app? On iMessage you can recover deleted messages by clicking on edit, it will say show recently deleted
