Colgate ‘New Formula’ toothpastes

What is going on with the new formula Colgate toothpastes?
Apart from being ridiculously expensive I bought two tubes of Colgate Original yesterday & have woken up looking like I’ve had lip fillers overnight.
I’ve had the same reaction previously & since they introduced these new versions but with another Colgate ‘formula’, so assumed (wrongly) that the original version would be ok.
A bit of research shows that others have experienced the same & that they changed some ingredients in their toothpastes, I think stanous fluoride is mentioned. Just wondered if anyone has had the same reaction?

I thought it was just me! It tastes horrible too. I thought I must have bought a whitening one by mistake so went back to the supermarket and bought ‘the original’ only to realise it was the same and it’s disgusting. I’m sorry you’ve had such a bad reaction.

My mum always uses Arm and Hammer as its got no fancy chemicals. I also use it, it's good, not expensive and does a good job. What got me sorted was the YouTube channel Teeth Talk Girl. She is great and explains very well
