I have been dating this guy for a while. I knew him years ago, we were fairly close as friends and have been back in touch. He was travelling to Leeds last night, but I haven’t heard from him at all. He said he was meeting a family member there and going by train for a night out. Bit worried because of the bad weather we have had also…Would you try and call or just leave it?

I’d leave it. I wouldn’t expect my husband, partner etc to contact me if they were on a night out.

Id leave it, be different for a long term partner or husband but not someone your just dating.

I’m not that far from Leeds and the weather was a bit grim last night but it’s perfectly fine today. He’ll have had a good night out and likely be nursing a hangover now or already out enjoying himself. Leave him be, it looks quite needy to be checking up on him when he already said he was busy, especially if you’re just dating.
