hi son is having 5 friends over for some gaming and movie night
i I have bought Nike crew socks and large sweet cone and mini card games to put in as party bag for his friends. I also bought Christmas socks as wasn’t sure to swap Nike socks for those
DH is saying the kids won’t really like socks and to give just sweet cones and card game
is giving socks as party bag filled a silly idea?

Mine is 14 and would love the Nike socks.

My 12yo would love Nike socks, and I would love you for getting him some as he's always losing the ones he has

I think the Nike socks is a great idea!!! My teen would love them although probably wouldn't be as interested in the Xmas socks anymore.

I’m a sucker for party bags as I love thoughtful touches and gifting. I also have a child of a similar age. I put Nike crew socks, Nike dunk keyring, playing cards in a plastic travel case with a personalised sticker on them . I also gave them all personalised go karting balaclavas as they were going karting. They were well received & the kids thought it was pretty cool. Your party bags sound great and you’ll definitely be a ‘cool mum’. Happy birthday to your son.

12 year olds get party bags? I think your idea is lovely, but everyone I know stopped when they left primary school. (That's not a criticism to be clear).
