Can anyone recommend bedding for night sweats?

Posting here for traffic. In the last few months I’ve been getting really bad night sweats. I have no idea why, I’m not peri menopausal or menopausal (early 30s with no other signs of peri). I keep the bedroom cool, probably 16-20 degrees. Use 100% cotton bedding, feather duvet, sleep in cotton shorts & t shirt. I don’t feel too hot or cold under the duvet but I wake up 2 or 3 times every night soaked in sweat, the sheets & mattress are soaked and I often have to put a towel down and sleep on that. It’s a nightmare. If anyone has any suggestions as to what might be causing it would love to hear them! I’m looking for some kind of sheet/mat I can sleep on that will at the very least absorb the sweat and at best stop me sweating completely or reduce it. I found one online but no idea if it actually works, so if anyone has any suggestions that would be great :)

Is your mattress a latex one or you have a latex topper? I had to ditch mine, was causing my sweats.

We also found a latex topper unbearably sweaty.

A couple of questions:

What is your mattress made of? Foam ones can be bad for night sweats.

Is it connected to your cycle? Often women get this just before their period starts due to falling progesterone.

Have you lost weight? Had any other symptoms? Tiredness, headaches etc?

Night sweats in your 30s for no reason can be a sign of something wrong. I would keep a diary and see your GP, at very least to get hormones, thyroid etc checked.

Unexplained night sweats at your age is worth discussing with your GP. It’s not always hormones.

GP for sure. Something strange happening for no apparent reason needs to be investigated. Are you 100% sure you have no other signs of peri? I had some random things like increased static shocks, and I'd put a quite a few things down to just being older (mid 30s).

I started to use a top sheet under the duvet, so that I could throw the duvet off but not freeze, also could replace if it got too sweaty.
Apologies edited as I didn't see you were so young - get yourself checked out, that seems not right at your age
