Just watching the news and a review into the Sara Sharif case.
Social workers visited her home the day before she died but went to the wrong address.
She'd been removed from school weeks before to be home schooled
I've nothing against home schooling but surely a child that is or has been on a child protection order shouldn't be allowed to be taken out of school to be home schooled without any checks at all ?

Heads need to roll for this.
She was 10 years old. She had over 100 injuries.
People of responsibility ( judge, social workers, NHS, other agencies) should never ever have allowed Sara to go and live with a man who had admitted to abuse against women and children.
The do gooders in the judiciary have caused this. Too in thrall of political correctness, mustn’t dare say anything against Asian men in case they get called racist.
She was tied up and beaten with a cricket bat and a rolling pin. They burned her. They broke her back. It was long term and systematic.
Social workers too scared of being called racist to lift up a hijab on an 8 year old girl. Teachers had seen her bruises.
Neighbours had heard her blood curdling screams of pain and terror - they did nothing, more people too scared of being called racist.
How have we come to this?
How can the fear of being called racist stop people from doing their job?
No child who lives with someone who has admitted to violence should ever be allowed to be home schooled.
Government agencies need to be deep cleaned of the dreadful ideology that frightens people so much that they can’t do their jobs properly - because they know if they are called the dreaded ‘racist’ they won’t have a job for long.
Did we learn NOTHING from Baby P, Victoria Climbie and the other children whose lives have been snuffed out in a haze of pain and terror from people who should love them? They all had expensive public enquiries which showed the systematic failure and blinding incompetence of all of these publicly funded government departments - and 25 years later it’s the same story.
I cannot bear to read any more of the articles about Sara as it makes me feel sick.
I hate this countries lack of backbone.
