I have a large man friend who is also larger than life. I have told him before about shouting at me when he disagrees with what I have done, eg not followed his route instructions and followed the satnav, shouting in restaurants when having a meal, in social situations etc and said that I don't want that. By shouting, I mean SHOUTING. It is embarassing and unnecessary. Last week, after a social event in our small village, when I was leaving the carpark, he started yelling at me. His excuse was that he had something in the car for me. Surely he could have walked over and quietly said what he wanted? I'm sure he will have an excuse, but should a man really shout at a woman in public? The issue is that I am thinking of not inviting him to public events any more. I mean ditching him and his bad behaviour. What do you think?

Yes ditch him. Life is too short.

It’s not even about how a man should talk to a woman but how friends should treat each other and it’s not like this.
