To think that some commuters are just hell itself?

A woman this morning has been eating her breakfast from a glass container, loudly and repeatedly clanging the spoon against the container far too much than necessary and far louder than necessary.

Now a serial sniffer has just got on.

An experienced commuter can block out anything and everything around them.

Noise cancelling headphones are an excellent first investment.

This isn't true. I simply can't due to neurodiversity. Even headphones don't work.

YABU, people are going to make noise on public transport, there are far worse things out there than can qualify as hell.

The only thing that bothers me about commuting is overcrowded trains. Besides that, I am not really too bothered by much else unless it's really out of the ordinary.

Three and a bit decades worth of commuting experience here. Two weeks ago I was wedged on a sardine tin level crowded train against a gentleman wearing an ungodly amount of perfumed aftershave for 45 minutes. I had nothing in my locker to block that out.

I used to catch a train where we got a new commuter who ate noisy cerial from a ceramic bowl with a metal spoon. On the 3rd day when he got on about 3 people, independently of each other told him not to be a train wanker and it stopped.
